Your choice
Optional analytics are off until you accept them. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics does not prevent you from reading the careers site, signing in or applying. Use to change your choice. Withdrawal stops future optional collection; it does not undo processing that already occurred.

Optional analytics
With your permission, Counter.dev receives page paths, referring pages and screen dimensions. Its servers receive connection information such as your IP address. See Counter.dev privacy information.
With the same analytics permission, Reef records visits and terminal commands linked to a session. Visit records include IP address, browser headers, page URL, referring page, campaign parameters and country when available. This helps us understand how the careers site is used. Avoid entering sensitive information into the terminal.
Applications and GitHub sign-in
Application processing and authentication are separate from optional analytics. You can sign in and apply without allowing optional analytics or terminal-event recording.
When you choose GitHub sign-in, GitHub supplies account and profile information and email addresses. We use this information to identify your account and let you select a verified email address. Your application contains your name, selected email address, account link, processing-consent choice, submission time and originating page URL.
Reef's recruitment tool (RAT) receives your name, email, GitHub account ID, username, profile location and account creation date where available, together with your internal user ID, application time and originating page URL. The application API does not include optional terminal-event or fingerprint records.
If you enable analytics, recorded visits and terminal commands are linked to a session that can also be associated with your application. Authorized administrators can view those records. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics stops new optional recording; it does not automatically delete records already collected. Missing analytics records are not evidence that you failed to read the site or follow its instructions.
The application form automatically checks email verification and whether an email address has a recent application or a cooldown record. If a cooldown applies, the form shows when you can apply again. If this prevents a legitimate application, contact [email protected] so Reef can review the situation.
